In my Individual Therapy and Family Therapy practice, I focus on partnering with you to explore challenges around interpersonal relationships, behavioral problems, sexual identity and behaviors, self-esteem, core beliefs/values, and many other aspects of life.
In counseling, I also incorporate techniques from a variety of theoretical orientations, placing an emphasis on collaboration and client-identified goals. I explore with clients how emotional and psychological obstacles from the past and in the present interfere with attaining goals and optimal day-to-day functioning.
Each program is individualized

I am a Tennessee-based psychotherapist with more than fifteen years of experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have extensive training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic modalities and specialize in treating trauma (PTSD; abuse). I use a flexible, eclectic, and highly individualized approach to my work. With a relatable and "real" style, I assist patients in identifying areas of concern, deepening self-awareness, developing and achieving realistic goals for their treatment.

Lisa is very attentive and thoughtful in handling me as a character and the issues around me.
